OCA HP Chapter – Flood Relief Initiative (Phase II)

The Old Cottinian Association (OCA) Himachal Pradesh Chapter successfully concluded Phase II of its Flood Relief Initiative in Matla Village, Sainj, District Banjar (H.P.) on 13 December 2025.
As part of this extensive outreach exercise, 40 women from affected households were supported through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of ₹14,000 each, ensuring transparent and immediate financial assistance to families impacted by the recent floods.
The program commenced at 11:00 AM and was attended by Executive Members of the OCA HP Chapter Vivek Negi, Adesh Katyayan, Abinav Sikka, Suneet Goel and Sunil Goel, who engaged in in-person interactions with villagers, listening to their concerns, assessing ground realities, and extending solidarity during this period of recovery.
This initiative reflects the OCA HP Chapter’s continued commitment to community welfare and the long-term rehabilitation of flood-affected regions. Further phases of relief support are being planned to ensure sustained assistance to the most vulnerable families.
